With ships spending less and less time in port, shore leave is at a premium, the Centre and its staff offer a warm and friendly welcome to visiting seafarers. Facilities include telephones, internet connection, television, reading materials and games. The Centre minibus transports seafarers to the Centre, and to local shops before returning them safely to their ship.

The Angel overlooks Victoria Quay, and offers value for money accommodation for overseas, interstate and local guests. All rooms (single, twin or double) have en-suites, air-conditioning and heating and contain a bar fridge, TV, telephone and tea and coffee making facilities.
