Fremantle Lions Club - The club meets every two weeks at the Flying Angel Club. It is generally the second and fourth Tuesday of the month. A very good meal and fellowship with a welcome to any visiting members of Lions International. Meeting at 6:00pm for a 6:30pm start.

Fremantle Port Rotary Club - This club meets weekly on Mondays at 5.30pm, for 6pm start.

Scrabble Club - Fremantle Scrabble Club meet each Saturday morning from 11am. This is a very active group with a wide range of age and membership. If you're a thinker and good with words, then contact Eileen or Renee at the Flying Angel on Saturdays.

Allied Merchant Seamen's Association, Western Australia Branch - Secretary Jack Edwards has appointed the Flying Angel Club chaplain as patron of the association. The Annual service at the Fremantle memorial is a significant service to honour the merchant navy.

The Eastern Seafarers Club opened in the site now occupied by the current Flying Angel Club.

The Flying Angel Club opened as the combined mission of the Sailors Society and The Mission to Seafarers representative of the Uniting and Anglican Churches in Fremantle.
