The symbol of the Flying Angel is an integral part of the Flying Angel Club worldwide and is also etched into the memory of Fremantle city.

The Flying Angel holding the book is part of an icon in the city mall (High Street) and has been created from the original symbol on the outside of the Flying Angel Club Fremantle building for the past 40 years.

The artist has presented a mosaic of Fremantle icons in the footpath artistry adjacent to Cully's Cake Shop. The new Flying Angel Icon is stylised in a contemporary form and featured on this webpage.

At first glance the Flying Angel appears to be on a stained glass window, however this artistic masterpiece is on footpath slabs that are the walkway and meeting place for many people.
